As a TTRPG publisher who switched from Adobe Photoshop and InDesign just before Covid, I can attest that Affinity is a very good suite that does everything we need for art, design and layout. There is some relearning needed, but given how Abobe steals your art for there own AI while also charging you an arm and a leg, it's worth the effort. In short, do it!

Thinking they saw the cash and sold out! How could a major decision like this be made in a few weeks?

Just today I started the incredible free 6 month trial - thank you Affinity for such an amazing intro to your software and as of this moment have wiped clean my Mac of every single evil Adobe entity - yes even those bastard hidden file that seem hard to delete. Adobe has GONE for ever. I absolutely love your Publisher app - it's wonderful, easy, insightful, fast and just makes a better contribution not the world of software. Keep up the superb work :)

I've been trying Affinity Photo for a few days and I have a request - please support RTL languages (e.g. Hebrew). This is the only thing that can break the deal unfortunately. I assume that a lot of people will switch to your software in the near future, also RTL languages users, so it's basic to support it and it exists in Photoshop... Please help us to help you :) 🙏 After that, I can convince more people to try your software. Besides that, meantime it looks good.

I know this video is old, but if anyone knows the answer, I'd appreciate it. If you have a combination of raster and vector layers can you still change the ratio of the image (scale up) without the raster layers becoming blurry?

Will there ever be a Linux version available? I bought it for windows but I want it for Linux and be able to ditch windows and use this software on Linux.

I'm curious. In the "Table of Contents", what was your rationale for leaving the page numbers so far to the right of the dotted lines? To me, that spacing looked odd.

I'had been Affinity's client since the begining. When they released the V2. And misteriously the V1 showed failures. For example, in publisher I could not add master or normal pages anymore. Similar issues for designer and photo. This happened on my two devices mac and iPad. Customer service, of course, never answered. After some time I bought a M1 imac and decided to give another chance to Affinity and bought the V2. It still works. However, this news makes me feel Affnitiy staff will end up betraying their clients to force them to get into canva with some kind of tricks. Would have Affninty depreciated their products to force clients to buy the new version? In my case, the answer would be affirmative. Will be Affinity ruin their user experience with subscription models and non loyal canva's famous practices? We'll see. Whether that happes I won't use it anymore.

I hope you guys can develop an animation asset or animation software similar to adobe animate mechanics.

Thanks so much for this. I've tried many times to give Affinity a go but always run out of time and just end up back at Adobe, this really gives us a chance to see to learn it. Looking forward to the tutorials. If you makes some called Affinity for Adobe users, that will really help!

I am super happy that they let us existing users that already bought V1 or have done a trial get to try out the V2. The fact that they let us try it with no credit card is absolutely amazing, this is what trials are suppose to be. Not like most companies hoping that we forget and tag us with one payment before we cancel. Actually giving it for free with no tricks gives trust to new customers and keeps us existing ones around.

THANK YOU! I just purchased the entire Affinity suite. I refuse to support Adobe's toxic business model. Honestly, for my personal needs, I probably could've gotten by fine only using GIMP. But I want to support businesses like yours who are doing things right!

I've been with affinity for a number of years now. Love the company's attitude. Please dont change your corporate approach. But please develop a solid RAW developer/ lightroom alternative. This is holding many back from changing from Adobe.

Video eine Katastrophe .... da nicht in Deutscher Sprache. Warum gibt es nicht mal einen Untertitel in mehreren Sprachen wählbar. Man zahlt Geld für Programme die man aber nicht einsetzen kann, da es keine Videos der jeweiligen Sprache zu Erklärung gibt. Hier geht es nicht un WhatsApp & Co. sondern um viele Euros und die sind einsetzbar da man es nicht versteht was gezeigt und in englisch erklärt wird. Traurig und mehr schade - dann sollte man das Geld komplett zurückzahlen. Bei mir über 400 EUR!

People really seem like your approach guys, good for you! I bought the full V2 suite. I'm in the process of hacking Linux to somehow run Photo on it because that's my mainly driver for work. In the mean time, do you think a Surface with Windows on it is good enough for Photo? Again, congrats on the new flow of customers and good luck!

In your FAQ section it is written that "Trials cannot be used for commercial purposes." Is it mean i can not make money while it is trial version?
